Egis Mobile Electric Announces TH Series Family of Battery Protection Relays for Vehicle Upfitting Projects

Egis Mobile Electric, a leader in emergency vehicle electrical solutions, recently announced the release of a new patent pending high-amperage line of battery management relays. Replacing the venerable Top H.A.T. (High Amp Tamer) which was originally released in 2007, the new TH Series family of products are led by 160 Amp or 200 Amp single output versions. A new Dual Output version rated for 80 Amps per output provides two independent time delays for saving battery energy from short duration loads while supporting long duration key-off loads such as video capture systems. All TH Series products meet stringent vehicle OEM standards for electrical immunity, are rated for interior or harsh engine compartment applications, and have over-temperature self-protection. Both on-board and remote indicator outputs provide diagnostic feedback and the ability to extend functionality, while an industry leading off-state power consumption of 1.2 mA ensures vehicle batteries are not drained.
